The year 2009 brings the twenty-sixth year of existence of the Blair Township Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), a group of residents of the Township who are interested in making a better place to live.
At this time the CAC is inactive due to the lack of interest from the members. They would like to have any interested Blair Township Citizens to call if they would like to be a member of this committee. The hope is to get new members so they can reorganize and once more become active.
One project done in the past by the CAC was the Blair Township News and Views newsletter which informs the residents of laws, regulations, changes, and items that may be of news or interest in our community.
The Committee would like more citizens to become involved with their local township. The committee would like representatives from all areas of the Township. If you are interested in becoming a member and would like information, please contact the Township Office at 696-4363.
The Citizens Advisory Committee member are brought before the Board and approved by the Township Supervisors.
